Food and culture evening with Lorenzo from food-branded Parma
We now continue on our wrapped international theme "Taste a culture" here at Herresta barn with Italy as the next stop. This evening is filled with wonderful Italian cooking and a nice setting. In addition to a cooking course and a fantastic meal, we will also get input and talk about food culture etc. in the country in the south.
Lorenzo Biacchi grew up in the food region of Parma in northern Italy and moved to Sweden when he was 20 years old. He regularly visits his homeland and family who work with quality food in various forms. Together with Lorenzo, we will prepare a well-composed complete menu with many dishes. The delicious recipes are taken from Italian family traditions in the region. Lorenzo will also share Italian culture.
The following is included during the evening:
- Fresh ingredients for all food in prepared food stations
- Cooking course with about 10 dishes, including making your own pasta
- Guidance and support from Lorenzo throughout the process
- A dinner of the highest restaurant class
- Copies of all recipes to take home
- Different input on cultural and value differences, and subsequent conversations
- Comfortable togetherness in a pleasant environment
Date, time and place
Friday, March 25, starting at 17.30. We start with a finished tray with cheese and hams from Parma. "Plan, cook, eat, talk" then gradually rolls on until approx. at 22.00. And if you want to stay, until no later than 23.00, you are welcome to do so. The event takes place at Herresta Lada in Odensala.
Award
You pay SEK 1,195 per person. This includes ingredients, cooking classes, restaurant meals and cultural conversations. The number of participants is limited to 25 people.
How do I register?
We need your registration no later than March 18. It can easily be done via email to tord@herrestalada.com. You then confirm your registration by swishing in the current amount to 0702011430 (Tord Olsson).
Take the opportunity to invite good friends, family members or relatives you have not had time to meet during the pandemic to see each other and have fun together in the cooking team. Or maybe invite your work team to work.
