This year's major effort with heavy ground work is now beginning to be completed. It is about creating cultivation areas on the south side of one of our three barns. It's a little too late in the season to start with the whole machinery, but some berry bushes, apple trees, some pre-cultivated herbs, seeds for radishes and various varieties of lettuce have now finally come down to earth. Climbing roses and vines, albeit small ones, are also in place. As far as possible, it is also organic. It feels like a party to have come this far and to look forward to a first small harvest!
No happiness, however, that lasts forever; the neighbor's two German Shepherds discovered how fun it would be to run around in the seedbed right the first day, so after a bit of initial fuss, order is now restored. And next year we can start in time with pre-cultivation in our conservatory and grow on the entire surface immediately. Lets grow!
